Awesome experience. Valley Solar was helpful to us before we even became customers, troubleshooting our system with us. They (Mitchell) were creative in saving part of our system and were able to use what we had. They are super-responsive by text and email and the team (Brian and crew)that came to the house was efficient and kind. The installer went the extra mile and mounted the receiver. Wanted to give a shout out to the Valley Solar service team. I have an existing solar installation, but had a micro inverter fail on one of the panels. I did not have a company nearby that could help service my system, and Valley Solar was far away and would have been cost prohibitive to come just for the micro inverter. However, they kept me in mind and remembered for over two months to reach out if they had a job in the area. They did adjust that and we’re able to fix my micro inverter for a very reasonable price. In a day and age where it’s hard to even get someone to call you back. I really appreciate it the effort and quality service in taking a care of my problem.

After doing research, Valley Solar clearly stood out as the best company around. We spoke with our local inspector, who specifically recommended Valley Solar, which gave us a lot of confidence in moving forward. This has been echoed by other local contractors we’ve worked with since!

From the beginning, the team was knowledgeable, transparent, and never pushy. They took the time to walk us through the design process, answer all our questions and made sure we fully understood our solar/battery system as well as the overall process.

One thing that really set Valley Solar apart is their Sun-Alert system. We liked that Sun-Alert actively monitors the system and flags issues before you even notice a problem, which provides real peace of mind and clearly adds long-term value. Unlike other companies we spoke with that rely on third-party monitoring or warranty providers, Valley Solar handles everything themselves. We also felt good that they have dedicated service teams, which shows the emphasis they put on the service side of things, not just the front end sale.

The installation itself was fantastic — professional, efficient, and incredibly well-organized. The electricians Jason and Andrew went the extra mile to avoid exterior conduit on the main roof which we certainly appreciated! The crew showed up on time each day and treated our home with care and respect. Communication throughout the project from Dawson, Kate and the other office folk was excellent, and everything was delivered exactly as promised which can be rare these days!

Valley Solar delivers more overall value than any company we looked at, combining technical expertise, outstanding customer service, and true ownership of their work. On top of that, they are a local outfit so our dollars stayed here in Western Mass. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering solar or batteries!
