When he's not working, you can find Patrick turning off lights around his house or competing in races involving lots of suffering and equipment.
Lauren's strong background in construction, energy efficiency, and sales help energize his perspective on project feasibility and design. It's not uncommon to find Lauren onsite inspecting installations between sales calls and over the weekend. He doesn't quit. When he does take time for himself, he can be found trail running throughout Western MA.
Troy has been with Valley Solar since its inception. He is a capable installer with scores of residential PV projects under his work belt. Troy is Valley Solar's company performer, teacher, artist, and Cheshire Cat. His background and passion is in physical theater, which makes him equally comfortable installing solar as he is performing in a puppy costume. Troy has a BA in Theatre (Summa Cum Laude UMass Amherst) and an MA in Playwriting (Smith College).
Jake’s interest in environmental stewardship was enhanced in the multi-disciplinary the Environmental Studies program at the University of Vermont. Before his path to green energy and harvesting solar power, he cultivated the land as a vegetable farmer. Jake joined our team in 2016 and when not installing PV systems, you will find him in the great outdoors dreaming of longs summers on the beach.

Louise joined Valley Solar this year after graduating with honors from the Renewable Energy course at Greenfield Community College. Before moving with her family to the Pioneer Valley, she worked and lived on private yachts, the ultimate off-grid unit. With 20 years on the water, conserving energy and harnessing wind for speed, moving inland required one clear direction: to be part of the clean energy movement. When not shepherding solar projects, Louise enjoys life with her husband (“the local”), daughter and their two island dogs.
We're always interested in adding more people to our team. Send a cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
